If I'm trying to lead a healthy life-style and lose weight, is iceberg lettuce a good choice?
I get the munchies a lot and i'm wondering if the white part of iceberg lettuce is good for weight-loss. I went to the doctor today and I'm 5'3 and a half and 104 pounds. I' a 14 year old girl.
I don't care for any other types of lettuce I think they taste disgusting, especially the dark green ones. But I really love the white/light green lettuce.

White/light green lettuce is actually the worst kind, sorry. And I know you don't wanna here this but the darker it is, the better it is for you.

The dark green ones are much better for you, but the iceberg doesn't really make a difference one way or the other. It isn't very filling, and it has basically no calories or nutrition. However, if you want to top it with peppers and cucumbers and other vegetables, that would make it healthier. It certainly isn't bad for you though, but you could find more nutrition in other types.
