marijuana diary i gave to my teacher?
i was supposed to explain the clash between my perspective on myself and the identity others give me. but i went a little overboard. what would you do if your a teacher and read this???
On Saturday I woke up and did nothing till around five. Two of my three good friends I listed early picked me up. We drove around for a couple hours and I was home by ten. This was also a very uneventful day because all I did was relax and smoke medical marijuana my cousin brought me from California. I have insomnia, skin conditions, and allergies and I am only including this part because I have nothing else to talk about for Saturday. Cannabis Sativa is a very controversial topic because many people have different opinions on Marijuana. I don't agree with being lazy or smoking marijuana while you are busy or have work; but I simply can't find anything wrong with replacing it with alcohol and living a healthier life style. I believe that its psychologically addictive; yet so are the showers and cups of coffee that millions of people use to wake themselves up in the morning. These two things become so habitual that some people find the wilderness and being out of their place in society absolutely horrific; lets no begin to mention women and getting their hair ready in the morning. How does Marijuana have anything to do with identities others create and my personal identification of myself? Well it is the realization that I am violating laws, norms, and religious traditions. I know that many people could write a paper on just the laws of marijuana so I'll try not to waste your time. California and Washington have recently placed a bill into circulation and are trying to get it passed. If it's passed then marijuana will be completely legal in the two states. My friends and I were discussing this and how it will be the beginning of a change of perspective in America. There is a time and place for everything and Marijuana should be used recreational and by merits for those who want to use it. I have several friends who are A plus students who smoke pot regularly and find it as a great replacement for many different things. Quite frankly I use it to replace aspirin, alcohol, allergy medicine, and topical medicine (eczema) for my skin just like people used alcohol for helping a sore throat. If I were to being on the religious aspect on weed my friends would recommend a quote from genesis that clearly defines how all gods plants and herbs are for you; but I don't like that quote. A sin is anything that keeps you away from god. If marijuana is in your cabinet and isn't an idol that keeps you away from Jesus and is used medically then there is nothing wrong with it because even Jesus drank wine but didn't overindulge. Sorry about this; I stopped keeping a Diary. To conclude all I need to say is that perspectives on me and my perspective on myself come down to the people I love, friendly affiliates, and myself

The content was probably inappropriate since you're probably in high school, but you didn't even address the question. There's really no direction or purpose to this paper. I love marijuana and agree with some of your points but the paper is pointless. I'd give it a D at best.

i wouldn't hand it in. nothing good will come from it. and saying that taking a shower in the morning is psychologically addictive or doing your hair? weak comparison.
