American bulldog healthy weight?
I have a very active american bulldog puppy that is 63lbs. He is 5 1/2 months old. His sire is 120 lbs. and the dam is 95 lbs. I have been feeding him Wellness food since we brought him home at 7 weeks. The reason I am asking is because you can clearly see his ribs. Is there a better food I should be feeding him? I just want him to grow to his maximum potential and live a long healthy life.

You are feeding him an excellent food. I would suggest a good old fashioned vet checkup including fecal.

Just to be on the safe side.

because the way they are built they will look like that mine is 2 years old and weighs about 180 and if he doesnt eat a high protein and fatty dog food you can see his ribs and they need alot of water also so try those things and im sure that you wont see his ribs anymore

some large breed dogs go through funny growth stages. If you are feeding him according to the bag for his age and weight, and he has been wormed then don't worry about it. We had a DDB that went through a really skinny/lanky stage and no matter what we fed her she looked anorexic. Then she grew out of it.
