How to start losing weight [and become healthy!] :D?
I did cross country at the beginning of this year and lost quite a bit of weight, however I gained it all back once the season finished :/
So what are some ways I can improve my lifestyle [basic things] so that I can live a healthier life :D Also, ways to get motivated to start running again? &Other exercises that don't involve machines or any other type of gym equipment? And ways to eat healthy too please(:
Oh and I am 5'5-5'6, about 135lbs and 16 years old.
Thanks everyone!

try to run with a friend. if have an appointment with a friend you will be more likely to go run then leave her out in the cold. runing is the best exercise without having gym equipment. although you can try jump roping. do single jump none stop for 20 mins it is hard as hell and takes a lot of endurance. i would eat lean cuisine its not bad and good for you. have yougurt and fruits in the house for snacks instead of chip and cookies. trying have 5 small meals a day to increase metabolism and if you are really dedicated count your calories and don't go over 1200 a day

The only way to lose weight is to either
eat less
eat how you do now and work out more
the eat less and work out more usually ends up in failure
whatever approach you use it has to be realistic ask yourself "can i do this for the rest of my life"
Personality A: Self Control, Good with routines, organized
Eating healthily will work avoiding 'bad foods'
Personality B: Like to have fun, adrenaline seeking, unorganized
Eat less of what you like or eat what you like just work out more to burn it off

Stop drinking pop and stop eating cheese.

Hi! I do cross-country too, and I also find it hard to keep it up after the end of the season, but what really helps is if you find a friend that is a similar speed to you and make them your running buddy. This way you are both motivated by the fact that you have someone waiting to run with you and you cant just blow them off. Also for eating healthy it is best to start taking away unhealthy foods one at a time. For example first you could take away cookies, and then icecream untill you dont eat sweets other than the weekends or something. Or you could use food as a motivation by saying you can only eat sweets after a run or workout routine. Carbs are also a very fattening food so if you start eating brown bread instead of white it should help. Hope I helped and Good Luck!

eating small snacks in between main meals will make you eat less in the main meal and that will make the difference and you will eat less calories per day and that will make your body firmed and toned in a very short time even if you didn't exercises but the snacks must be slices of carrots and cucumber =40 calories or a small banana best of luck and enjoy your life
