How do I eat healthy living in a dorm? Is eating sandwiches from restaurants healthy?
i'm trying to lose weight as well as a lot of body fat percentage....the thing is I don't hav ea kitchen in my dorm area..
the lettuce doesn' keep fresh in my mini fridge.....
do you think the college cafeteria food is healthy if it's not deep fried?

Dorm eating can be healthy... the key is to exercise and try to eat low fat (no extra mayo, butter... cut back on fried foods, pizza... etc). Also, many dorms offer healtheir alternatives.

Yes, sandwiches are a good way to go... just watch out for the mayo and cheese.

In fact, college is the best time to lose weight. You have more free time (compared to working 40+ a week)... you have access to the gym, the track and a lot of hot babes to motivate you... lol.

Gaining weight in the dorm is quite common, especially for the girls. We had a name for that phenomenon which I don't remember. It's akin to the "secretarial spread".

Lol i have the same problem as you!! I go get Subway sandwiches almost everyday but it gets expensive. So I just buy bags of Apples, Yogurt and Cereal. Get Special K because they are good for losing weight and low fat milk. Apples as a snack instead of cookies ... and yeah. I dont know what to do for meals yet so I cant help you out there :P

I is NOT easy to stay healthy in a dorm. You really have to be picky about what you eat from the cafeteria since everything is with sauce and breaded. Buying fresh fruits, cereal, protein bars, protein shakes (you can get a shaker cup) nuts etc. I also make beef jerky when I am home.

I ate healthy in the dorms by sticking to the salad bar... the grilled chicken, the plain fish... the steamed vegetables... and using mustard, soy sauce & salsa... and maybe some tomato sauce if I knew what was in it...
